PENGARUH MODEL COOPERATIVE INTEGRATED READING AND COOMPOSITION BERBANTUAN MEDIA CERITA RAKYAT LOKAL TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MEMAHAMI BACAAN SISWA KELAS III SDn NEGERI 04 PUDING BESAR
XMLThe background of this research is the low student learning outcomes in the reading comprehensionability for the third grade students at SD Negeri 04 PudingBesar. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition model assisted by local folklore media on the reading comprehension abilityfor the third grade students at SD Negeri 04 PudingBesar. This research is a quantitative research using the Quasi Experimental Design research method with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects of this research were all students in the third grade at SD Negeri 04 PudingBesar with a total of 40 students and sampling using purposive sampling. The data collection techniques used in this research were documentation, observation and multiple choice tests totaling 10 questions. The data analysis techniques used sample related t-test (polled variant). The results of data analysis showed that the average value of reading comprehension of experimental class students was 80 and the average value of reading comprehension of control class students was 78.5. From the results of hypothesis testing obtained tcoun>ttable is 2.831> 2.086, meaning that Ha is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition model assisted by local folklore media on the readingcomprehension ability for the third grade students at SD Negeri 04 PudingBesar.
